DOBBINS HIGH TO UNDERGO “EXTREME SCHOOL MAKEOVER”

School, City Officials mark the beginning of major renovations on Monday by taking a sledgehammer to an interior wall

PHILADELPHIA –  On Monday, April 3, school and city officials will hold a press conference to celebrate the beginning of an “Extreme School Makeover” at Murrell Dobbins High School. After the speaking program, officials will get the renovation process going themselves by hitting an interior classroom wall with a sledgehammer.

This renovation project will revitalize the historic Dobbins High School for the benefit of students, staff and the local community. The project will include substantial improvements to 37 classrooms and in various other areas of the school. In addition, there will be cutting-edge enhancements to the school's Career and Technical Education (CTE) classrooms, making Dobbins even more of a leader in this area throughout the District.
